Our engineering and production team designs and manufactures custom industrial blades for a wide range of cutting applications. We support perforating, chopping, slitting, shearing, scoring, shredding, and other industrial cutting processes with blade solutions tailored to machine type, material, and performance requirements.
Working with a dedicated industrial blade manufacturer means faster technical communication, more consistent product quality, and supply that fits your production schedule.
From high-speed film slitting to heavy-duty shredding, we supply blade solutions matched to material type, machine setup, line speed, and required edge finish. Share your application details with our team, and we will recommend the blade geometry, material, and hardness needed to improve uptime and cutting consistency.
Highlights
Our process is designed to reduce back-and-forth and help you move from concept to production-ready blades more efficiently.
Share your machine type, material, thickness, cutting method, and target performance. We confirm the key requirements before production begins.
We recommend blade geometry, material, and hardness based on wear conditions, cutting quality targets, and service life expectations.
Machining, heat treatment, and grinding are controlled to achieve dimensional accuracy, stable hardness, and reliable edge quality.
We check key dimensions, edge condition, and overall consistency, with trial support available when required.
Blades are packed for export to protect edges and surfaces, with documentation support for international orders.
Every blade we supply goes through a controlled production sequence — from raw material verification to final edge inspection. Here is how blade manufacturing works at Yishi:
We source tool steel grades (D2, SKD11, H13, M2) and tungsten carbide suited to each cutting application. Incoming stock is verified by spectrometry before entering the production queue. Blanks are cut to dimensions that account for heat treatment allowances and minimize machining waste.
Blanks are rough-machined to near-net shape on CNC milling and turning centers. Blade geometry, mounting features, and bore or slot dimensions are established at this stage, with allowances maintained for dimensional changes during heat treatment.
Tool steel blades are heat-treated in vacuum furnaces to reach target hardness — typically HRC 58–62 for D2 and SKD11 — while minimizing surface oxidation and distortion. Rockwell hardness is verified at multiple positions per batch to confirm consistency before grinding begins.
After heat treatment, blades are finish-ground on CNC surface and cylindrical grinders. Thickness, flatness, outer diameter, and bore are brought to final dimensional tolerance. Edge geometry — bevel angle, honing, and micro-finish — is prepared based on the substrate and cutting conditions.
Key dimensions are measured using CMM and calibrated gauges. Edge condition, flatness, and hardness results are recorded per batch to support incoming inspection and repeat-order consistency.
We support custom industrial blade manufacturing for OEMs, replacement buyers, and processing plants. Tell us your blade type, cutting material, dimensions, or wear problem, and our team will review the best-fit solution for your application.
Have questions about custom machine knives, materials, or ordering requirements? Here are the most common questions from OEM buyers, maintenance teams, and industrial processors.
Please share your application, material type, thickness, cutting method, target cut quality, and blade dimensions if available. Drawings, photos, or physical samples can help us evaluate your requirements faster.
Blade material selection depends on the material being cut, thickness, cutting speed, and wear conditions. We typically recommend tool steel for balanced performance and carbide when higher wear resistance and edge stability are required.
Yes. We support small-batch trial orders so you can verify blade fit, cutting performance, and service life before moving to repeat production.
We control key dimensions such as thickness, outer diameter, inner bore, and flatness based on application requirements. Tolerance levels are defined according to your machine setup and cutting precision needs.
We standardize machining, heat treatment, and grinding processes, and maintain inspection records to ensure dimensional stability and consistent edge quality across batches.
Yes. If you are experiencing issues such as rapid wear, chipping, or poor cut quality, we can recommend adjustments in material, hardness, or coatings based on your application and wear conditions.
