Vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal machines for snack bags, frozen food pouches, and liquid packaging.
Customized sizes are available, according to your drawing or sample.
Pouch packing machine cutter blades are precision components designed for form-fill-seal (FFS) and pouch packaging lines in food, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods production. These blades perform clean, burr-free cuts on laminated films, PE, PET, and aluminium foil laminates. Manufactured from high-alloy tool steels such as D2 (Cr12MoV), SKD11, and M2 HSS, they undergo vacuum heat treatment to achieve a uniform hardness of HRC 58–62. Each blade is ground to a flatness tolerance of ±0.01 mm, ensuring consistent seal integrity and extended service intervals. Custom dimensions are available to match OEM specifications or sample drawings.
Blades are available in D2 (Cr12MoV), SKD11, M2 HSS, 9CrSi, 440B, and 420J. D2 and SKD11 offer high wear resistance for abrasive films; M2 HSS provides heat resistance for high-speed lines; 440B and 420J add moderate corrosion resistance.
Vacuum heat treatment with multi-stage tempering delivers a uniform hardness of HRC 58–62 across the cutting edge, minimising micro-chipping and edge roll-over.
Double-disc grinding achieves flatness within ±0.01 mm and parallelism within 0.005 mm, critical for consistent cutting clearance and seal quality.
Edges are ground to a sharp, burr-free finish with a typical edge radius of 0.005–0.010 mm, optimised for clean cutting of thin films without tearing.
Manufactured to customer drawings or OEM part numbers, with options for mounting holes, slots, and special coatings (e.g., TiN, CrN) upon request.
Each blade is inspected for hardness, flatness, and dimensional accuracy. A certificate of conformance is available on request.

YISHI Machinery produces pouch packing cutter blades entirely in-house, from material sourcing to final inspection. Our vacuum heat treatment and double-disc grinding processes deliver consistent HRC 58–62 hardness and flatness within ±0.01 mm. We maintain stock of D2, SKD11, and M2 steels for fast custom orders, and our engineering team assists with material selection based on your film type and machine speed. Direct factory supply ensures competitive pricing without compromising on quality. No minimum order quantity on custom blades.
We offer D2 (Cr12MoV), SKD11, M2 HSS, 9CrSi, 440B, and 420J. D2 and SKD11 are preferred for abrasive films, while M2 HSS provides higher heat resistance for high-speed lines. 440B and 420J offer moderate corrosion resistance for packaging in humid environments.
Yes. Provide a dimensional drawing, sample blade, or OEM part number, and we will reverse-engineer the blade to your specifications. We can match hole patterns, bevel angles, and special coatings.
Standard custom orders ship within 15–20 working days. Expedited production is available for urgent requirements. Contact us with your specifications for a precise lead time.
For most laminated films (PET/PE, Al/PE), we recommend D2 or SKD11 at HRC 58–60. This provides a balance of wear resistance and toughness to prevent chipping. For abrasive films, M2 at HRC 60–62 may extend blade life.
Yes, we provide re-sharpening for worn blades. The blade must be within the re-grindable thickness tolerance. Contact us with your blade dimensions and condition for a quotation.
We typically hold flatness to ±0.01 mm, parallelism to 0.005 mm, and overall length/width to ±0.05 mm. Tighter tolerances can be discussed for critical applications.
